The Italian Alpine Club (CAI), founded in Turin in 1863 on the initiative of Quintino Sella, is a “free national association, has for its purpose mountaineering in all its manifestations, the knowledge and study of the mountains, especially those Italian, and the defense of their natural environment”.
I have volunteered with the CAI section of Spresiano since 2018 educating and supporting teenagers through the physical and mental difficulties the mountains present, helping them to become responsible adults, following the articulate and complex ” CAI Educational Project”.
